  • The GSES Fall Harvest 2023 is right around the corner. It will be held on Friday, September 29th from 5:30pm - 8:00pm.

  • If you have a child who will be in PreK this year, please join us for an orientation on Wednesday, August 2nd at 5:30 in our cafeteria. This will be a time to gain important information about your child’s day, as well as be able to ask questions you may have that pertain to PreK at our school. We look forward to seeing you then!

  • We are so excited to welcome you and all of your children back on Friday, August 4th! Because of renovations and construction, there have been some updates that are noted below:
  1. There will be designated times to attend in an effort to help our teachers, especially those whose spaces are not yet ready.
    1. Last names that start with letters A through H will come from 2:30-3:30
    2. Last names that start with letters I through P will come from 3:30-4:30
    3. Last names that start with letters Q through Z will come from 4:30-5:30
  2. If your child’s teacher is in the newest addition (600 building), those teachers will be stationed in the Gulf Shores Middle School gym. You can access that building from our building or from the front of the middle school. The teachers whose classrooms are in the new building (600 building) are listed below.
    1. Mrs. Miller – 2nd Grade
    2. Ms. Howard – 3rd Grade

  3. Class lists will be posted in the windows of the cafeteria for you to view before walking into the buildings if you need to verify where your child is.
  4. We will have adults stationed throughout the campus to help with locating rooms. Please be sure to tell the person helping you what grade and teacher you are looking for.
  5. Please remember to bring your child(ren) supplies if you did not purchase a supply pack. If your child is in the new wing (600 building), please be sure your bags or box containing supplies have your child’s name on them.

  • All post cards with class placements have been mailed. All registration and other items must have been complete no later than Friday of last week to receive a post card for your child. We have had several post cards that we have had to pull due to students not being registered, lacking required documents, or not having up to date shot records. Please call the front office at 251-968-7375 if you have not received your child’s post card by Monday, July 24, and we will do our best to assist in solving the problem so your child can be placed.

  • School supplies are available now for all grades on our GSES website.

  • School begins on August 8th for our students. Please register your child for the 2023-24 school year on our website.
