Dr. Tim Webb is the youngest of nine children and is a native of Hohenwald (Lewis County), Tennessee.  He and his family relocated to Gulf Shores, Alabama in August 2017. He and his wife Jessica are blessed with four children and two sons-in-law: Christa (Jordon), Emily (Ronny), Ronan, and Lacy. They are also blessed with five grandchildren: Colt, Case, Jolee, Laney, and Elsey.

In 2017, Dr. Webb retired from service in Tennessee public schools. After starting his career as a classroom teacher and coach, he served as an Assistant Principal, Principal, Superintendent, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Commissioner of Education for Tennessee. Dr. Webb began his service in Alabama public schools in 2017 as a substitute teacher. In 2018, he began teaching at Robertsdale (Baldwin County) Elementary School. In 2020, he was hired as an Assistant Principal at Robertsdale Elementary.

In 2000, Dr. Webb retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard with twenty years of active duty and reserve military service. During his time in service to our great Nation, he served as an enlisted member in the role of combat medic, squad leader, and platoon sergeant. He achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class before becoming a Commissioned Officer in 1991. As an Officer, Dr. Webb served as a platoon leader, company commander, and battalion-level staff officer before retiring at the rank of Captain.

Webb earned an Associates degree from Columbia State Community College. He attended Austin Peavy State University before graduating from Regents College with a Bachelor’s degree while on active duty military service. Webb earned a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University. He holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Webb treasures time with his family. He enjoys golf, relaxing in the pool, and spending time on the boat.
