Rebecca Grogan, Assistant Principal

 I was born in Texas, but most of my life I lived in Opelika, Alabama. I attended Jacksonville State University where I met my husband, Matt. I taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grade for 10 years. I taught at Kitty Stone Elementary and White Plains Elementary. I was an Assistant Principal at Alexandria Elementary 2011-2015, Assistant Principal at Maysville Elementary in Georgia from 2015-2023, and now at Gulf Shores Elementary school. I was a counselor, Head Counselor, and Assistant Director of Camp Skyline Ranch for Girls from 1996-2005. I continue to help them during the summer with a variety of administrative tasks. I have been married to Matt Grogan since 2000 and we have two children, Walker and Laynee. I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
